Lately, I’ve been trying to read to my strengths. My attention has been all over the place these last three months as my career obligations ramped up and new opportunities emerged to cultivate my creative impulses.1 As such, I've sought out reading methods and literary formats that cater more easily to a stop-and-go lifestyle.

Essay collections, plays, and poems have been my dearest friends at this moment. When I find myself frustrated at not having read anything throughout a busy day, these have allowed me to get a few pages in and helped me disconnect from the ordeals of daily life.

I've also, somewhat reluctantly, leaned on another format to help me chip away at my library.
